Now the footage looks more grainy than it needs to, although it will be impossible to completely remove the graininess.

There were several hours of tape for the show at the Packer's Roost and it took a while to scan it all before I had the whole night captured. Now comes the hard part of piecing it all together.

This chapter is a little over 7 minutes long, so now the total length at the midway point is already 22 or 23 minutes, which was my original estimate for the length of the entire movie. It still looks like the final cut is going to be about 40 or 45 minutes long.

This weekend marked another milestone: making sure the movie will look smooth on DVD. I was scared because my previous DVD software produced images that were very pixelated, but the new software works great and images look completely smooth.

I've finished the first draft of chapter one, which shows the first day up until the point where they arrive at the first gig. That's 04:30 of footage so far.
